Strawberry Banana Shortcake

*The bananas make this delish!

1 pkg white cake mix      ¼ cup milk

3 egg whites                     1 pkg banana cream pudding

1 cup water                       1 tub Cool Whip

1 tub frozen strawberries (24 oz)     1/3 cup vegetable oil

 1-2 ripe bananas, diced (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9 x 13 pan. Combine mix, milk, eggs, water, pudding,  and oil. Beat on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes. Fold in diced bananas. Pour batter into pan and bake about 30-35 minutes. Use toothpick to check the center. Let cool completely and then top with Cool Whip and strawberries. Don’t forget to place them in the fridge beforehand to thaw!
